Kathryn Georgeanne “Kay or Kaye ” Kargis Lowder

She was born June 28, 1945, in Salt Lake City, to George Constantinon and Cornelia Yacoba Jansen Kargis of Tooele. She married Robert L. Lowder May 7, 1966, in Tooele. Mrs. Lowder was a member of the LDS Church, served as president of Salt Lake City Police Ladies Auxiliary, vice president of Blue Cross Blue Shield Employees Association, and was a member FOE Auxiliary. Survivors include her husband: sons, Gregory Scott and Jason Allen, Salt Lake City; brothers, George (Tyke) Kargis, Duchesne; Roy Larson, Tooele; sisters, Shirley Romano, Peggy Flint, both of Hunter. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 9, 12 noon at Butler 17th Ward, 7035 Nutree (7000 South 3360 East). Friends may call Thursday 6-8 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple and Friday one hour prior to services at the ward. Interment, Memorial Estates, 3107 East 7800 South.
