Richard Warren Liddell Richard Warren Liddell died unexpectedly on July 8, 2005, in Perris, Calif. He was born in Tooele, Utah, on March 7, 1945, to Byron LaVarre and Mae Kirk Liddell. He grew up in Tooele and graduated from Tooele High School. He attended Brigham Young University and served an LDS mission in the Eastern States Mission. Richard loved to sing and participated in ward choirs and in a singing group called Just Us. He loved eagles and had a vast collection which he showed at fairs, receiving many blue ribbons. He was preceded in death by both of his parents. He is survived by his wife, Vanessa; and step daughters, Ashley and Morgan of Perris, Calif.; former wife, Judi K. Liddell of Stayton, Oregon; sons, Richard L. Liddell of Thousand Oaks, Calif., David L. (Stacie) Liddell of Moorpark, Calif., Marty M. (Jessica) Liddell of Stayton, Ore., Joseph L. (Rachael) Liddell and Thomas K. Liddell of Salem, Ore.; and grandchildren Keri, Emily, Tyler, Alexandra, David and Amy. He is also survived by brothers, Byron (Louise) Liddell of West Jordan, Ronald Liddell of Mesa, Ariz., Susan L. (Leo) Ericksen of Logan, Utah, David (Sherry) Liddell of La Porte, Texas, and Daniel (Itasca) Liddell of Murfreesboro, Tenn. A graveside service will be held at the Tooele cemetery on Aug. 22 at 10:30 a.m.
