Obituary for Dian June (Bryan ) Zentner Dian June Zentner passed away May 13, 2021 at the age of 76 following a short illness. Dian was born on February 6, 1945 in Tooele, Utah to Aron and June Bryan. She graduated from Tooele High School in 1963, where she was Seminary President, band majorette and cheerleader. She performed musically around the community, received the John Phillip Sousa award for musical achievement and represented the school at Girl’s State. She married William C Zentner on September 6, 1963 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Dian was a dedicated wife, mother and friend to all. She was extremely talented musically and artistically and excelled in all phases of her life. She and her family lived in Pennsylvania, Japan, Hawaii and Utah. In each location she has touched a myriad of lives. She traveled the world and her favorite places to find adventure with her family were New Zealand, Hong Kong, Thailand, Switzerland, Korea, Japan and the Netherlands. She was an active member of the LDS church for her entire life and held multiple church callings. She attended school at Weber State University, taught at Nihon University and was a noted publisher. Dian never ceased in serving others and was always ready to help those in need. She is survived by her husband and children: Tamara (Ted) Ryba of Wassenaar, Netherlands, Chris (Janeen) of Aliso Viejo, California, and Matt (Stephanie) of Frederick, Maryland. Grandchildren include Cody Zentner, Kristy Zentner, Ashley Zentner, Dallas Zentner, Isabella Zentner, Maggie Zentner, Eli Zentner, Aila Zentner, Lili Ryba and Abby Ryba. Siblings are Jed Bryan and John Bryan. Dian is preceded in death by her parents, and brothers William “Win” Bryan and Kim Bryan. Funeral services will be held for family and friends at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 21, 2021 at the Captain’s Island Ward, 5935 Bayshore Drive, Stansbury Park.
