Obituary
Billie Jean Bumpus Allen
Date: 3/6/2014
Our dear sweet Billie Jean Allen left us March 6, 2014 to join all her many loved ones in Heaven. She was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and it took her quickly and all too soon. Her life was filled with love, compassion and service for all those she loved, and she loved unconditionally. She left behind a very thoughtful and devoted, loving husband Dale Allen. She married Dale September 10, 1993 and they later had their marriage solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Billie has three sons, Guy (Susan) Green, Kenny (Brooke) Green, and Mike Green. (Mike preceded her in death) Billie has one daughter, Collette (Shawn) Anderson. Collette is the baby and she was also her mother's best friend. Billie was a wonderful grandma and she has 10 grandchildren. She loved everyone of them and doted and fussed over them whenever and wherever she could. They will miss her so much. Billie was very beautiful, both inside and out. She was very talented and had many gifts. She loved to make things beautiful. She made wonderful home interior creations and Christmas Centerpieces and any type of holiday fun things. She and Dale would decorate their trunk every year for trunk and treat for Halloween. Billie was involved in every way her family would let her. She attended sports in the hot sun, snow, and rain. She was the taxi driver, cook, baby sitter and hang out not to mention shopper and money giver. She did everything she possibly could for her family not to mention all the others who called her Grandma Billie and she had an open house for everyone and everything. She loved animals of all kinds and would take a wounded one and nurse it back to health from humming birds to ferrets. Billie was an ultimate caregiver and she will be greatly missed here, but will be welcomed with open arms in Heaven by her many loved ones and friends. The family wishes to express a special thank you to all the compassionate service providers that came to Billie's aid in her dire time Of need. The Ambulance People, the Hospitals, Hospice, the Church Ward and Relief Society, and many family and friends. There will be a Graveside Service for Billie at the Tooele City Cemetery on Friday, March 14, 2014 beginning at 11:00 a.m. There will be an open microphone for any friends or family that wish to relate some special thoughts about Billie.
