Bennah Burton Burtt

Bennah Venera Burton Burtt passed away peacefully in Los Angeles, Calif., on May 20, 2006, of complications of breast cancer. She is preceded in death by her father, John T. Burton of Tooele, Utah. Bennah was born on March 1, 1946, in Lubbock, Texas, to John T. and Mary Lee Burton. She graduated with honors from Tooele High School in 1963, and attended Utah State University in Logan, Utah. She moved to Hollywood, Calif., as a young woman to begin her lifelong career in the production side of the film industry. Bennah is survived by her husband, Jeff Burtt of Los Angeles; her mother, Mary Lee Burton; brother Wallace Burton (Dianne); nephews, Ian Burton (Megan) and Gordon Burton, all of South Jordan, Utah; niece, Brooke Burton of Asheville, N.C.; and numerous other relatives and countless friends. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 8, at 11 a.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 8575 S. 700 E., Sandy, Utah.
