Nicholas J. “Nick” Horn

Nicholas Johnson Horn 1945 – 1992 Former resident, Nicholas Johnson Horn, age 46, {July 25, 1945} died April 17, 1992 of cancer. His parents are Harold T. and Madge Horn. He married Nancy Lynn Ellis April 2, 1972 in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. He was raised in Tooele and was a graduate of Tooele High School and Brigham Young University. He resided in Las Vegas, Nevada with his family where he was a professor at University of Nevada at Las Vegas and he served 15 years as a Nevada State Senator. He was finance chairman in the Senate, Director of Clark County Medical Society. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold T. Horn. Surviving are his wife Nancy Lynn; daughter Stacy Lynn and son Nicholas Jason, all of Las Vegas; and his mother, Madge Horn of Tooele. Funeral services were held April 21, 1992 in the LDS Francisco Park Ward, Las Vegas, Nevada. Burial at Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
